Truncated UUID Export – laby.net
--------------------------------
1. Overview
This archive contains a list of truncated UUIDs exported from the laby.net user database.
Each entry represents the first 8 characters of a full UUID, sorted in ascending order.
These truncated UUIDs are intended solely for lookup purposes and do not represent the complete UUIDs.

2. Data Format
The data file inside this archive is a plain text file encoded using the US-ASCII charset.
Each line contains one truncated UUID prefix, exactly 8 characters long, followed by a newline character.

3. Deduplication and Collisions
Due to truncation, multiple full UUIDs may share the same truncated prefix, causing potential collisions.
To maintain uniqueness and reduce redundancy, duplicate truncated entries have been removed from this export,
so every line in the file is distinct.

4. Usage
This export is primarily designed to help identify whether a UUID prefix already exists in the database,
which is useful for filtering or deduplication of contributions.
