Minecraft Screenshot GalleryEvery screenshot, finally findable.
The Laby Client sorts your screenshots by month, server and player, remembers where each one was taken and shares it in one click. Press F2, then open the gallery from the menu.
- Free
- Minecraft 1.8.9 to the latest release
- Windows, macOS and Linux
Every screenshot remembers where it was taken
When you press F2, the Laby Client writes your coordinates, the players in the shot and, on a server, its address into the image file itself. The gallery reads it back, so you find that one sunset on that one server months later.
- Server address, coordinates and the way you faced
- Players in view, up to 16 blocks away
- Your account and the Minecraft version
- Stored inside the PNG, so it travels with the file

A screenshot taken with F2 in the client and what the client wrote into that very PNG. In singleplayer there is no server address.
Albums that sort themselves
Next to the albums you make, the gallery groups your shots by server, by the players in them and by the account that took them. Everything from your own worlds lands in Singleplayer.
- My Albums: create one, add shots with a right-click
- Servers, Players, Accounts and Singleplayer
- A player gets an album once they are in two shots
- Save any automatic group as your own album
- Deleting an album keeps the screenshots
Type a server or a name, get the shots
The search field checks the file name and the metadata of every screenshot: the server, the players, the account and the Minecraft version. Type "hypixel" or a friend's name and the gallery shows only those.
- Server, players, account, version and file name
- Searches as you type
- Albums have a search of their own
- Select several shots to delete them at once
Circle it, then copy it
Open a screenshot and press the pencil to draw on it. Pick a color and a brush size, undo a stroke if it went wrong, then copy the picture with your drawing straight into a chat or a document.
- Any color, brush size 1 to 10
- Undo stroke by stroke
- Copy the drawn version to the clipboard
- Your original file stays as it was
Take the whole view, all 360 degrees
The Panorama Screenshot Key captures everything around you in one picture. The gallery opens it as a 360° view you can drag around, and uploaded to laby.net it opens in a viewer just like it.
- No key by default, set it under Hotkeys
- Saved as a 2:1 equirectangular image
- A "Panorama saved" notification with a preview
- Opens as a 360° view on laby.net
Want a tighter or a wider frame instead? Hold C to zoom in or widen the view with the FOV Changer before you press F2.
Clutch it and the clip saves itself
With Clip Events on, the Laby Client tells the Laby Launcher to save a clip when you land a clutch or break an enemy bed in Hypixel Bedwars. The launcher keeps the last moments of your game in memory, so the clip already has the fall in it.
- Off by default
- Needs Clips turned on in the Laby Launcher
- Clutches on water, hay bales, beds, cobwebs, slime and honey, boats, mounts, ladders and vines
- Minimum fall 3 to 320 blocks (14 by default)
- Keeps recording 1 to 10 s after the moment (3 by default)
- Cooldown of 0 to 60 s between clips (3 by default)
Hay bales count from Minecraft 1.9, beds from 1.12. Clips can go into a folder of your choice in the launcher.
Questions and answers
Where is the Minecraft screenshots folder?
Minecraft saves screenshots in the screenshots folder of your game directory. In the Laby Client you do not have to look for it: the camera button in the main menu and the game menu opens the gallery, and Open Folder takes you to the files.
How do I take a panorama screenshot in Minecraft?
Set the Panorama Screenshot Key under Hotkeys in the Laby Client settings, it has no key by default. Press it in game and the client saves a 360° panorama as a 2:1 equirectangular image.
How do I share Minecraft screenshots with friends?
Open a screenshot in the gallery and press Share: Upload puts it on laby.net and copies the link, Send gives it to a friend who is online in Laby Chat. Copy Image puts it on your clipboard for anything else.
Can I search my screenshots by server or player?
Yes. The search field matches the file name, the server address, the players in the shot, the account that took it and the Minecraft version. The Laby Client writes these into every screenshot it takes.
What are Clip Events?
Clip Events tell the Laby Launcher to save a clip when you land a clutch or break an enemy bed in Hypixel Bedwars. They are off by default: turn them on in the Laby Client and turn on Clips in the launcher.
Do my older screenshots show up too?
Yes, every screenshot in the folder shows up in the gallery and the timeline. The automatic albums, the search by server or player and uploading to laby.net need the metadata the Laby Client writes, so they work for screenshots you take with it.
